Lane Closures on Lemay Ave This Weekend in Fort Collins

There's going to be some traffic backups anticipated this upcoming weekend on Lemay Avenue.

The City of Fort Collins Traffic Operations Department will be replacing the traffic cabinet and signal pole on the east side of Lemay Avenue and Swallow Road Sunday, April 28.

"The work will begin at 8 a.m. and last through the early afternoon. During this time there will be lane closures at the intersection, which will be controlled by flaggers. All directions of travel will be maintained but delays are anticipated." -The City of Fort Collins

This replacement will upgrade signal infrastructure and will include a flashing yellow arrow for the northbound left turn lane.

It will also have a protected left turn indicator for the eastbound left turn lanes.

The work will be done Sunday morning in order to minimize negative traveling patterns such as congestion to the public and nearby businesses.
