This Saturday (August 6, 2016), the Boulder County Parks & Open Spaces will host a free event to teach kids how to fish. The Kids-Gone-Fishing Clinic will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., teaching kids ages 5 to 15 how to fish. The event will take place at Stearns Lake at Carolyn Holmberg Preserve, and participants will be able to move from station to station, learning about different aspects of fishing from casting, to baiting a hook, to handling a freshly caught fish.

Space is limited and time slots will be assigned. So if you want your kids to participate, you need to preregister.
