How an Iconic Movie Motorcycle Ride to Colorado was Recreated
One of the most iconic movies in which Colorado is featured is undoubtedly 1994's Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels buddy comedy 'Dumb and Dumber.'

Not only was a large chunk of the plot based in the Centennial State, namely Aspen, but the movie was shot in numerous other parts of Colorado including Estes Park, Breckenridge, and even Fort Morgan, to name a few.
Decades after the iconic film was released, a couple of motorcycle enthusiasts who run a popular YouTube channel not only replicated the famous mini-motorcycle that took the duo all the way to Aspen, but they recreated the actual trip on it as well.
Motorcycle Builders Recreate Iconic Colorado Movie Segment + Bike
The YouTube channel, Revzilla, boasts over 1.4 million followers and is the brainchild of Ari and Zack who, in this scenario, would take on the roles of Lloyd and Harry.
The pair recreated the junky little motorcycle for which Lloyd traded Harry's van in the movie with great attention to detail.
The materials that would make up the replica would include a frame, wheel kit, engine, tassels, basket, and for those that pay extra close attention, even a raccoon tail.
After a lot of work and attention to detail, Ari and Zack finished the bike:
While an impressive feat in itself, the pair took their project to the next level by completing the actual trip to Aspen outlined in the plot of the famous film.
