On Halloween, 1880, a saloon brawl erupted into a full-scale riot in Denver's 'Chinatown.' A mob of citizens burned down homes and businesses alike injuring countless residents. At least one person died as a result of their injuries. The mob was not held accountable following the violence, and the Chinese under attack that day were never compensated for their losses.

The Pueblo Pig Man

The City Park in Pueblo, Colorado is rumored to have been haunted since the Great Depression by a terrifying 'Pig Man' who craves human flesh. Sign up for the Pueblo Ghost Walk to hear the tale of a Colorado farmer who fed his murder victims to his pigs, only to develop pig characteristics and a craving for human flesh himself. Some visitors claim to have seen him with their own eyes.

The Aurora Hammer Murders date back to Halloween of 1984. An intruder entered the home of Bruce and Debrah Bennett, murdering both adults before raping their 7-year-old daughter Melissa. The murder went unsolved for nearly 40 years before an Arapahoe County District Court Judge sentenced Alex Ewing to three life sentences for the crimes in 2021.
