Colorado's Original Jolly Rancher Candies
The world-famous Jolly Rancher candy dates back to the 'Jolly Rancher Ice Cream Store' in Golden, Colorado. In 1949, Dorothy and Bill Harmsen sold ice cream, boxes of chocolate, and a new candy called Fire Stix (a hot cinnamon taffy). According to GoldenHistory.org, the couple soon repurposed their family barn for candy creation, renaming their property Sugar Bar Ranch. Jolly Rancher candy was made in Colorado until 2002. It's now manufactured in Canada.
Hammond's Candies
Carl T. Hammond Sr. opened his Denver candy shop in 1920. Today, Hammond's Candies is one of the largest candy shops in the state of Colorado. Tap this link to book a tour of their candy factory which produces more than 10 million candy canes, and 2 million lollipops every year.

Colorado's Enstrom Candies
Grand Junction, Colorado has been enjoying Enstrom Candies since the family introduced toffee, truffles, and caramels in 1929. Today, Enstrom generates millions in revenue annually with five retail locations in the Centennial State.
