Colorado Avalanche Playoffs 2024

It's easy to forget that our Colorado Avalanche sat at the very top of the NHL mountain just two years ago. While all of our now three Stanley Cup Champion runs have been spectacular, that last one in 2021-22 was incredibly special.

Just a handful of years ago, our beloved Colorado Avalanche had the very worst record in all of the NHL. Under the leadership of Coach Bednar, the same coach we had that terrible season, the Avs have made the postseason every year and went from worst to first to bring home our third Lord Stanley in 2022.

2024 Colorado Avalanche Round Two Opponent And Schedule

After losing game one of Round One of the NHL Playoffs to the Winnipeg Jets, the Colorado Avalanche completely rolled over the Jets to win 4 in a row and lock up their spot in Round Two with another familiar face...

In Round 2 of the NHL Playoffs, the Colorado Avalanche will be facing the Dallas Stars, after they defeated the current Stanley Cup Champion Vegas Golden Knights. Since the Stars were a higher seed, the Avs will start on the Road in Dallas tomorrow, May 7th. Here's the full Round Two schedule.

Colorado Avalanche vs. Dallas Starts NHL Playoffs Round 2 Schedule

  • May 7: Game 1, 7:30 p.m. on ESPN from Dallas
  • May 9: Game 2, 7:30 p.m. on TNT from Dallas
  • May 11: Game 3, TBD on TNT from Denver
  • May 13: Game 4, TBD on ESPN from Denver
  • May 15: Game 5, TBD (TBD), Dallas*
  • May 17: Game 6, TBD (TBD), Denver*
  • May 19: Game 7, TBD (TBD), Dallas*

The final three games only happen if necessary, so we'll for sure get at least two home games at Ball Arena this Saturday the 11th, and Monday the 13th. The Avs are on a roll but the Stars are heating up as the Avs have had almost a week to cool off. Let's hope the R&R helps them and not hurt them like the downtime did for the Nuggets this past week. Here's to hoping we get another parade in June like the one below... Go Avs Go!

Miss the Denver Nuggets Championship Parade? Here Are Some Pix

The 2023 NBA Championship Parade for our Denver Nuggets was absolutely spectacular. Firetrucks from all over Colorado loaded up with Nuggets players and staff and took over 17th Street in Downtown Denver. Here are some pix of the action that we caught at 17th and Wazee just outside of Union Station.
