Colorado Travelers Should Avoid These Locations at All Costs
Until a few years ago, I never really saw the appeal of traveling to another country. When I finally did, I was instantly changed for the rest of my life. There is so much to see and so much to experience in the world.
Once you have a great experience traveling to another country, you are going to want to visit more. There are many destinations that you can fly directly out of Colorado from the Denver International Airport, which makes getting your passport stamped very convenient.

Many foreign countries are overall safe to visit and some you should exercise increased caution. However, there are some countries that you should avoid for your safety. The U.S. Department of State has a list of all of the countries and the threat levels for each of them.
Travel Advisory Levels By the U.S. Department of State
There are four different advisory levels issued by the U.S. Department of State:
- Level 1 - Excercise normal precautions
- Level 2 - Excercise increased caution
- Level 3 - Reconsider Travel
- Level 4 - Do not travel
There are nearly two dozen countries in the world that the U.S. Department of State classifies as level 4 - do not travel country. These are those countries you should not travel to and why.
