Northern Colorado Asian and Sushi Restaurant Reopens in Johnstown

A small town fan favorite restaurant in Johnstown has reopened this week. Little House, located at 417 Charlotte Street is back in business in Northern Colorado. In years past, I have ordered pickup numerous times from this small, family-owned restaurant. Every time we ordered food, it was always great and reasonably priced too.

The Little House restaurant was repurchased by the original owner and underwent renovations according to posts on Facebook on August 2, 2024. Residents of both Johnstown and Milliken raved about the quality of the food and how delicious it was over the years in the Facebook group. Now, the community of Johnstown is happy to see the restaurant serving ramen, sushi, and Chinese cuisine back open again.

Little House is offering takeout, dine-in, and online ordering at littlehouse417.com. Some of the most popular items on the menu at Little House include Lo Mein, Singapore Rice Noodle, Kung Pao Chicken, and my personal favorites, General Tso's Chicken and Beef.

The sushi menu from Little House looks amazing too. Some of the Little House Signature Rolls include the Volcano Roll, Rainbow Roll, Caterpillar Roll, Spider Roll, and more.

Hours of operation for Little House are listed as Monday - Tuesday 3:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday - Sunday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Orders can be placed online at littlehouse417.com.

This Local Colorado Mexican Restaurant Is One Of The Best

After opening in 2008, Las Palmeras Mexican Restaurant has become one of the area's very best locally-owned places to get delicious, and authentic Mexican food. We found this place by accident years ago while driving hungry down Main Street in Longmont and have been regulars ever since.

The owner, the staff, the food, and the drinks are all top notch and that's what makes this one of Colorado's top choices for delicious Mexican food. It's also a perfect place to watch sports!

A Guide to Colorado’s Michelin Award-winning Restaurants

The Michelin Guide debuted in Colorado in 2023, with five restaurants earning one Michelin star and four noted at Green Star restaurants.

Nine also earned Michelin’s Bib Gourmand distinction, recognizing these restaurants' great food and value.

In total, the inaugural guide identified 44 standout restaurants.

For 2024, Michelin added a one-star restaurant, a Bib Gourmand and two new recommended restaurants: Brasserie Brixton in Denver and Kawa Ni, also in Denver.

Michelin-starred restaurants earn up to three stars from anonymous inspectors who assess product quality, mastery of cooking techniques, harmony of flavors, the personality of the chef as reflected in the cuisine, and consistency over time and across the entire menu.
