I-70 Closed in Both Directions Due to Massive Fiery Crash

Breaking: I-70 is closed in both directions at Denver West Colorado Mills Parkway. Denver  News 7 is reporting a massive crash involving multiple vehicles and fire. No information on the cause of the fire or accident yet. Investigators are on their way to the  scene. Expect I-70 to be closed for hours. We will update this story as more details become available.

Witnesses say they heard several explosions as fire crews worked to get the blaze fueled by tossed lumber and diesel fuel under control.

West Metro Fire crews said they had treated at least two people. Lakewood police told Denver7 that at least one person was burned but is still alive. Police said there have been multiple injuries.
