Wednesday could be very windy according to the National Weather Service. A High Wind Watch has been issued for Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday night, with western winds ranging from 20 to 40 mph. Hurricane-force gusts up to 75 mph are also possible.

Areas included in the watch include Larimer County and northwest Weld County. Strong winds could blow unsecured objects around, tree branches could be broken and power outages may occur.

Cities and towns that could be impacted by the high winds include Estes Park, Red Feather Lakes, Fort Collins, Loveland, and Longmont.
