Human Bean Honoring All First Responders With a Free Drink Saturday, 9/11
20 years ago today, the American life was forever changed by the events of September 11, 2001. Hundreds of heroic first responders were among those who lost their lives that day. And to honor the brave people in our community who put their lives on the line every day in order to protect others, especially in the midst of wildfires and a pandemic, the Human Bean of Northern Colorado is saying 'thanks.'
If you're a firefighter, paramedic, police officer or any other kind of first responder in the Northern Colorado area, the Human Bean said via email announcement that you can get one free drink on Saturday. You must either be in uniform or bring your badge.
The Human Bean of Northern Colorado has several locations in Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, Windsor, Lasalle and Evans.
Another way to honor Remembrance Day on Saturday is at RainDance in Windsor. The community is hosting the event from noon to 10 p.m. on September 11, with a moment of silence, F-16 flyover, 21 gun salute, patriotic fireworks show and more.
This fall, the Fritzler Farm Park's corn maze is also honoring the fallen. A popular fall destination for Northern Coloradans, the LaSalle corn maze will be made into a special design for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
