Judah & the Lion is headlining this year's First National Bank Taste of Fort Collins on Sunday, June 10. But, I was surprised to learn how the band's banjoist, Nate Zuercher, got into the 'rock' part...

Zuercher, a native Coloradan, was raised in a very musical home by parents in the symphony in Colorado Springs. He played a lot of instruments growing up, but he credits seeing the Jack Black movie School of Rock in sixth grade for getting him into guitar and rock 'n' roll.
