Hold Onto Your Butts: Colorado Is Getting a Spaceport For Space Tourism
In this week's round of 'Hold Onto Your Butts': WE'RE GOIN' TO SPACE, Y'ALL. According to KDVR, Colorado is going to be getting a spaceport, which is, you guessed it, just like an airport, but instead of airplanes there are space planes.
No, I didn't just make up 'space plane,' it's a real thing. The Colorado Air and Space Port will be constructed at the Front Range Airport, which is near DIA and about half an hour from Downtown Denver.
This project won't be done for several years, however. But hey, pretty cool, right? Everybody get up, it's time to slam now.
