Weld County was full of excitement on Tuesday (July 12, 2016) morning when a driver led authorities on a high-speed car and foot chase from Milliken to Greeley. According to the Greeley Tribune, the unidentified driver took off and led authorities on a chase after they attempted to stop the vehicle at Weld County roads 52 and 17 around 1:50 a.m.

The suspect reached speeds of upwards of 75 miles per hour before he was slowed down by stop stick that where deployed by Weld County Deputies. Once the vehicle came to a stop, the suspect fled on foot and was eventually tracked down and taken into custody near U.S. 34 and 71st Avenue.
