Here's some really great news amidst all the crazy going on as of late. The Thompson School District has made arrangements for actual graduation ceremonies for the 2020 class.

The Reporter-Herald reports that the newly upgraded field at Ray Patterson Stadium will host graduation ceremonies for Loveland's Ferguson High, Loveland High, Mountain View High, and Thompson Valley High, as well as Berthoud High School.

The ceremonies will have social-distancing, looking a lot like when the Air Force Academy graduated earlier in the year.

Thompson School District made arrangements for the event with Larimer County after providing the county with approved plans on how to keep those in attendance safe and showing their ability to implement contact tracing, in case someone who attends later tests positive for COVID-19.

I think this is great; we used Ray Patterson [Field] when I graduated from Loveland High School decades ago.

The 2020 graduation ceremonies will be held July 16-18.
