Summer peak hour pricing kicks in on May 1, meaning customers will be charged more for using power between 2-7 p.m. on weekdays.

Fort Collins moved to the time-of-day pricing system in 2018. Customers can save money by shifting electric use to lower-priced, off-peak hours.

The City recently announced it would move forward with the summer peak price increase during the COVID-19 pandemic.
