Looking to get your skate on? Greeley’s three newly renovated skate parks will have any Northern Colorado skater satisfied on their next ride.

After identifying a need for additional and improved skate parks, the city started construction on a network of three modern, concrete skate parks located strategically around Greeley in 2018. The planned plopping of these skate park locations were carefully placed to ensure that the majority of Greeley residents have access to at least one skate park within a mile of their neighborhood.

Peak View Skate Park, located at 5601 13th St. Rd, is currently being renovated, but local skaters can expect to roll through the updated versatile concrete features of Peak View in early November.

In the meantime, checkout the also newly renovated Centennial Skate Park that opened on October 3rd. With the freshly installed sod, Centennial Skate Park is a nice variety of grass and concrete – perfect for our fall skaters to enjoy skating, and the vibrant, green landscaping. The City of Greeley reports the grand opening for this fun new hangout as a "huge success," and are looking forward to see the continued use of the park by Greeley citizens of all ages.

The third option will be on 3rd Street and 11th Avenue, offering a modern vibe and a street-style plaza perfect for the industrial skater. Although this park is not completed, the City of Greeley is hoping to have this concrete playground up and running for skaters within the next couple of months.

With Greeley skate parks on the rise, this also opens doors to welcome and encourage all wheel sports for Greeley and the surrounding area as well. If nothing else, Greeley is paving way (literally) for local kids, teens and adults to be motivated to spend more time outdoors with the opening of these parks.
