During the week of May 11, Colorado Governor Jared Polis will head to Washington DC for a meeting with President Donald Trump, as reported by CBS 4 Denver.

Polis spoke, in person, with Vice President Mike Pence last month before his speech at the Air Force Academy. However, Polis hasn't actually left the state of Colorado since the COVID-19 outbreak began.

According to Polis' spokesperson, he will be discussing the federal support Colorado has received, along with our current needs. The governor's office said that Polis looks forward to "a productive conversation" with Donald Trump, according to CBS 4 Denver.
