Good Job! Denver Was One of the Best Cities at Staying Home
Give yourselves a pat on the back (save the high fives for later). Colorado's capital ranked in the top ten in the entire country when it came to Stay-at-Home Order compliance during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Governor Polis posted on his Instagram that Denver was ranked number eight for the 'Best Cities That Stayed Home During COVID-19.' The top city was New York, followed by San Francisco and Boston.
Polis' Instagram post said that Denver had a nearly 60 percent decrease in overall travel. The City of Denver, and the rest of the state, are now in the Safer-at-Home phase until at least the end of the month.
Larimer County said it will be applying to reopen ahead of the state, due to its low number of hospitalizations.
