A GoFundMe page has been set up for the Fort Collins man allegedly murdered  by 3 suspects from Ohio late last month.

Fort Collins resident Devon Smeltz was reported missing by family members on August 26. The 20-year-old's body was found in Morgan County on September 3.

Three 20-year-old suspects from Cincinnati, Ohio, were arrested in Illinois on charges of first-degree murder in connection with Smeltz's case.

"I'm making this for my mom because many people are asking how they can be there for us, and until now all I've been able to ask for is everyone's love and support," Stephanie Smeltz wrote on the GoFundMe page, which launched on Monday. "It will help to take any added stress off of her shoulders during this time. The money donated will remove any financial burdens that arise through Devon's passing."

Miss Smeltz says family is appreciative of all the positive thoughts sent their way.

As of Wednesday morning, the page has raised $810. If you'd like to donate, go to the page and click "Donate Now," where you can enter in any amount you'd like.
