There's nothing more American than a delicious summer ice cream cone.

Glacier Ice Cream is taking over the old Dairy Queen building, located at 920 N. College Ave, to bring a family-owned business to the Choice City.

Owner Tony Karnes told us via email,

Raising a family in Fort Collins over the last three decades has woven the Karnes family in to the fabric of Fort Collins, and bringing an original 1949 Dairy Queen building back to a fun and quirky ice cream and gelato shop has been a dream for us.

You can try their new offerings, which include CBD infused ice cream and vegan options, on July 3rd. They'll be celebrating the holiday weekend with a special $5 Red, White, and Blue Sundae.

If you're coming from the new White Water Park, consider Glacier Ice Cream after a day of fun in the sun!
