Fresh Air Friday is the alternative to post-Thanksgiving door busting, and what better deal is there than free state park admission?

Colorado Parks and Wildlife aims to take people away from the madness of Black Friday shopping and get them outside enjoying our beautiful state during the holidays.

Colorado Parks & Wildlife encourages you to take some time this Thanksgiving weekend to explore the outdoors and make new memories with the people you love. Turn Black Friday into a blue skies Friday, a green trees Friday, a white snow Friday… a Fresh Air Friday! -CO Parks and Wildlife

This means you can enjoy all 41 of Colorado's state parks free of admission on Friday, November 23. If you live in Northern Colorado, you can visit Lory State Park in Fort Collins, Boyd Lake in Loveland, State Forest State Park and St. Vrain State Park in Firestone...as long as the weather is on our side!

You can also see a map of all 41 parks here.
