Gas Prices Fall Below $3 In Colorado: Where To Find The Cheapest

Well, the day has finally come - the national average price for gas has fallen below $4.

For the first time since March, the U.S. national average price of gas fell back under the $4 mark to $3.97 per gallon.

According to GasBuddy, gas prices have declined by over $1 per gallon since peaking at $5.03 on June 14 - which had been fueled by falling oil prices over the course of the last month.

As per the fuel savings platform, Americans today will reportedly spend nearly $400 million less on gasoline than they did in mid-June. (on the bright side, we're trending in the right direction)

The Average Price Of Gas In Colorado Today

According to AAA, the average price for gas today stands at $4.05 - about eight cents over the national average. However, that doesn't mean you need to be paying a premium for gas.

Right now, there are multiple gas stations in Colorado where you can fill up your tank for under $3 - even if you live or work 30 minutes or so from these gas stations, it might be worth taking a little ride to save some major money at the pump.
