Frontier Airlines is trying to make it easier for you to make a historic trip of your own to Cuba - directly from Denver International Airport.

According to Denver7, the Colorado-based airline applied for daily flights between D.I.A. and Havana, Cuba. This action follows President Barrack Obama's announcement to travel to the country this month.

Frontier has also applied for various connecting flights to Cuba.

The last and only sitting United States president to visit Cuba was Calvin Coolidge in 1928. President Jimmy Carter traveled to Cuba in 2002, 20 years after leaving office.
