Save and Shop: Fort Collins Announces Free Parking Days for 2022 Holidays

Ready to shop? Ready to shop local? Ready to shop local in Downtown Fort Collins? The City of Fort Collins is helping to take the pain out of that holiday shopping. You can brag about all the money you saved, when you hand out your gifts.

With all the great shopping locations in the Downtown/Old Town area of Fort Collins, you should really plan on hitting the area more than once, to get it all in. The parking will be free for not only city holidays, but for three Saturdays as well.

The parking structures in Downtown Fort Collin aren't terribly expensive to begin with, but adding a few extra days of free parking, beats a candy cane in the eye, any day. Normally you get that first hour free, then it's $1 per hour after that. So, think about how many more hours of shopping you'll be doing, by not worrying about your fee. Nice, right?

Those kiosks that they have at all three of the parking structures make it very easy to pay (when you do have to pay,) too. The part where you put in your phone number to get a reminder to add more money, very convenient. But this is about those FREE parking days.

• Sunday, November 27 (Sundays are always FREE to park.)
• Saturday, December 24.

• Monday, December 27 (Christmas Day, observed.)
• Saturday, December 31.
• Sunday, January 1, 2023.
• Monday, January 2, 2023 (New Year's Day, observed.)
