Fort Collins Area Weekend Forecast: Temps to Reach the 90s

Unlike our dreary and wet Memorial Day weekend, the first week of June is off to a warm and sunny start. The National Weather Service says that Fort Collins will even reach 90 degrees by Saturday.

Friday will be sunny and clear, with no storms currently in the forecast. The high is expected to reach 89 degrees. On Saturday, there is a small chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms, however most of the day is expected to be sunny with a high of 90 degrees. After that, the high temperatures for the next few days will only reach the upper 80s. You can see the full forecast from the National Weather Service here.

So far, the first half of 2021 has been one of Colorado's wettest years on record. The Denver Metro area has gotten nearly 10.5 inches of precipitation between January and June, which is more than all of 2020, where our region got less than nine inches of precipitation total. 2021, so far, is Northern Colorado's ninth-wettest year on record, and the wettest it's been here since 1983, according to the National Weather Service.
