Fort Collins Ranks #2 City for Bikes in the U.S.

We've got the best beer, we're the best place to get a job, we're all happy— how many more lists does Fort Collins needs to top?

Actually, this is a pretty good one.

PeopleForBikes did their annual study of best cities for biking, and Fort Collins (which normally ranks pretty high on this list) has topped it yet again, scoring the #2 spot. The organization looked at five key pieces of research: the city's ridership, safety, bike network, acceleration, and network reach in the community. Overall, Fort Collins scored a 510.

According to a press release, Tim Blumenthal, president of PeopleForBikes, said, "We hope Fort Collins will use this data to continue expanding their bike network to provide even better bike riding experiences."
