Fort Collins Police Services (FCPS) arrested a man for 'window peeping' last week.

According to their Facebook page, police became aware of the man's behavior on January 4, when a woman called to report a sexual assault.

After an investigation, the man was identified as Brendan Morse and charged with sexual assault, domestic violence, and invasion of privacy for sexual gratification.

Invasion of privacy for sexual gratification, also known as window peeping, is defined as "a person who knowingly observes or takes a photograph of another person's intimate parts without that person's consent, in a situation where the person observed or photographed has a reasonable expectation of privacy, for the purpose of the observer's own sexual gratification."

Police believe that Morse targeted multiple victims in Fort Collins over the past year, especially in the area west of Shields Street near Mulberry Street and Drake Road.

If you have additional information about the case or feel that you are a victim, contact police at (970)-416-2825 or at tipsline@fcgov.com.

In order to protect yourself from this kind of behavior, police advise that you keep your doors and windows locked at all times and your blinds and curtains closed, particularly while changing or showering.

Report any suspicious behavior, including peeping and trespassing, to police.
