Given the stress of this last year, and now the anticipation of getting a vaccine, I definitely would not say I've been a very relaxed person recently (or maybe ever), but a recent study named Fort Collins one of the most relaxed cities in America in 2021.

LawnStarter — which is a landscaping blog, because what is more relaxing than yardwork — ranked 2021's Most Relaxed Cities in America 'by comparing over 190 of the biggest U.S. cities across 57 key indicators of a Zen atmosphere.' Fort Collins, turns out, is pretty damn Zen.

Out of the 191 cities that LawnStarter ranked, Fort Collins was eighth, and the only Colorado city in the top ten. Colorado Springs ranked 35th, while Denver ranked 38th.

Interestingly, Fort Collins was ranked number one in the 'highest adequate sleep rate' category. That tells me that most people here must not live as close to the train tracks as I do. Fort Collins also ranked second in the 'highest leisure physical activity rate' category, and we can't argue that.
