A Fort Collins man has died following an accident in Loveland. According to the Coloradoan, the man identified as Scott Barber drove his Porsche SUV straight into a roundabout at a high rate of speed.

The incident happened on Saturday, April 25 at approximately 4:50 p.m. on Larimer County Road 9 near the airport. When the vehicle hit the roundabout, it went airborne, rolled,and hit a fence located on the northwest corner of the Northern Colorado Regional Airport.

Scott Barber, 64, was the only occupant in the Porsche SUV. He was transported to UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies where he died from his injuries. The Loveland Police Department's CRASH Team is currently investigating.
