Often, I talk to Colorado natives who think the new residents moving to Colorado is a bad thing. However, a new study shows us that the population growth is helping the Larimer County economy, especially in job growth.

In a study from 24/7 Wall St., Larimer County / Fort Collins added 31,008 jobs between October 2014 through October 2019. That lands us in the number 9 spot for job growth in the nation, with most new jobs in local government.

According to the Coloradoan, Greeley wasn't far behind at 19th on the list adding 23,534 new jobs.

I know population growth changes things, but some changes can bring opportunity, more tax dollars and great people to the state.
