Fort Collins Earns a Spot on OUTSIDE Magazine’s ’25 Best Towns Ever List’
Whether the category be employment, entertainment, or even dogs, Fort Collins is no stranger to showing up on 'Best Of' lists. Now, OUTSIDE Magazine has given us reason to celebrate the Northern Colorado city yet again, by ranking Fort Collins as one of the 25 ‘Best Towns Ever’ on a recent list. OUTSIDE Magazine is known for covering outdoor adventures and travel-related topics, and in their 2017 July issue featuring the 25 best towns ever, Fort Collins is named as the "Best Bike-To-Happy-Hour-Town." We'll cheers to that!
In the past, OUTSIDE's readers have always been the ones to choose the best adventure towns for this issue, but this time, a council of experts helped to pick the greatest places in America. The article describes FoCo as:
This college town in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains has over 20 breweries, most notably New Belgium and Odell. Borrow a cruiser from Fort Collins Bike Share and you can even put together a self-guided tour of local breweries (median household income: $56,000).
Fort Collins wasn't the only Colorado city to make the list. Salida ranked as being the "Best Unsung Mountain Town."
