Jake Wells, who grew up in Fort Collins, was chosen by Adam Levine on this week's round of blind auditions on NBC's The Voice.

According to NBC, 23-year-old Wells lived in Fort Collins at a young age, while he toured in his family's gospel group. After relocating to Kansas City, MO as a teen, Wells started to explore secular music, and now performs as a solo artist.

In this week's round of blind auditions, Wells performed Ryan Adams' 'When the Stars Go Blue,' which got a last-minute chair spin from coach Adam Levine.
