Foothills Mall Struggling to Keep Restaurants: 7 Have Closed

The Foothills Mall has undergone several changes over the years, but since its big reopening in 2016, it has struggled to hold onto restaurants.

The most recent to announce an exit is C.B. & Potts, Westword reported on July 10, after the chain revealed it was closing four Colorado locations, including the one on Foothills Parkway.

According to the Coloradoan, six others haven't been able to make it, including Casa Del Matador, Grimaldi's Brick Oven Pizza and The Melt, which closed in 2018.

Smashburger and Hop Grenade exited in late 2019. In early 2020, Bar Louie announced bankruptcy.

Another restaurant called Zoe's Kitchen has also closed but will be rebranded by the same ownership with a similar menu as Cava Grill. That's expected to open soon.
