Female Found Dead in Larimer County Jail Cell

A 30-year-old female inmate is dead after jail staff found her unresponsive in the early morning on Tuesday (Feb. 18).

About 5 a.m. on February 18, 2020 the Larimer County jail staff received a report of a unresponsive inmate in a cell. According to a media release, jail

deputies, medical staff, and UCHealth EMS attempted to revive the 30-year-old female but were unsuccessful.

Fort Collins Police services have opened an investigation into the cause and manner of death.
