Enjoy Free, Family-Friendly Fun at the Poudre RiverFest
Because the Cache la Poudre River is such an important natural resource to Northern Colorado, our community takes the opportunity to annually celebrate and educate people about it at the Poudre RiverFest.
This year's event is happening on Saturday, June 3, at a new location – 500 Linden Street, adjacent to New Belgium Brewery on the Poudre River Oxbow. From noon until 7 p.m., there will be a variety of activities allowing people to explore the many different and valuable roles of the Poudre. Local groups that work to improve and maintain the health of the river will be on-site to educate and answer any questions. There's even the option to actually get your own hands dirty by taking part in helping to restore the river as a volunteer. The festival culminates with a celebration in the afternoon, featuring a New Belgium beer garden, food, guest speakers, kids’ activities, exhibitors and live music from Lineage Music Project, Gasoline Lollipops, Dave Miller Blues Band, and Patti Fiasco. This is a free event that the whole family can take part in.
