Getting drunk and getting in the elephant pen is not a smart way to celebrate the holidays, but that's what a woman was taken in for at the Denver Zoo just before Christmas.

According to 9News, police and firefighters responded to a call from the Denver Zoo lights display that someone had been shocked by the electric fence of the elephant enclosure. What they found was a 21-year-old woman who had gotten extremely drunk, wandered into the elephant enclosure and set down against the electrified fence.

At around 8:55 p.m., on December 23, 2013, Denver Zoo security was alerted that a disoriented woman was found inside an animal yard in the zoo's Toyota Elephant Passage exhibit. No animals were in the yard at the time. The woman was transported for medical care.

Even Ren & Stimpy taught us, "Don't Whiz on the Electric Fence!" I guess getting drunk and sitting on one is not such a great idea either.
