Drummer for Twisted Sister Dead at 55

A.J. Pero, the drummer for 80's rock-sensation Twisted Sister died today. He was 55.

Anthony Jude Pero suffered (an apparent) heart attack this morning (Friday, March 20th) and was declared dead at a New York hospital shortly after 11am.

How many of you are old enough to really remember (I was just a kid myself) how the shock-rock extravagance of Twisted Sister took over the world?

The entire 80's glam-metal scene was totally ridiculous, of course, but it was also kindof great. Twisted Sister's over-the-top make-up and costumes, the corny, rebellious songs and the goofy music videos... they were a pretty good time.

Still are, actually.

55 is pretty early to check out, but I bet he had a whole lot of fun.
