Donald Trump's tweet to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani sparked international controversy yesterday (July 23). The U.S. leader, in all-caps, wrote to Rouhani, "NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE.”

In turn, the internet's response was to make the controversial message a meme. Papa Roach joined in on the fray by tweeting the lyrics to their iconic song, "Last Resort."

Their tweet has received over 51,000 favorites and 16,000 retweets in under 24 hours. It got so much attention that Billboard posted a story leading with it. (They also pointed out that starting in 2000, the song spent 20 weeks on their Hot 100 chart.)
