Is it just me, or do people want the world to end? It seems like several times a year masses of people theorize how the apocalypse will go down. And I'm not an expert on what's in the Bible, but are there seriously multiple predictions as to how the world is going to end? Seems a bit conflicting to me.

NASA is constantly monitoring outer space for signs of incoming asteroids with an automated collision monitoring system called Sentry. The program continually scans an "asteroid catalog" for the possibility of an impact.

"NASA knows of no asteroid or comet currently on a collision course with Earth, so the probability of a major collision is quite small," says an agency spokesperson. "In fact, as best as we can tell, no large object is likely to strike the Earth any time in the next several hundred years."

The Blood Moon-asteroid apocalypse theory was made famous by Christian ministers John Hagee and Mark Biltz, who said the 4 consecutive lunar eclipses which began in April 2014, with 6 full moons in between, is an indicator of the end of the world as described in Acts 2:20 and Revelation 6:12 in the Bible.
