Do You Celebrate Groundhog Day?

Groundhog Day, Feb. 2nd, is not only about attempting to predict the weather via rodent. It's also a day to celebrate one of the greatest comedy films ever made!

Groundhog Day, the 1993 comedy starring Bill Murray, is about a TV weatherman that gets trapped in a time-loop that makes him repeat the same day, Feb. 2nd, over and over again.

It's simply one of the greatest movies ever made. I watch it every year and every single year...it's hysterical! Even after 20 years, it's still crazy-funny. Every time.

The story is brilliant. Brilliant! It's original (remember when they made original movies?) and totally bizarre. I love that you never really find out why (or how) the guy keeps reliving the same day. I love that you never really have any idea how many times he has repeated the same day. (How long does it take to learn to play the piano?) It could be years and years! That is awesome. Leaving the magic a mystery is genius!

Also... Bill Murray. Need I say more?
