Did you know that back in 2006 a pneumonia outbreak killed off many bighorn sheep in Colorado? On Wednesday, Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers hiked for miles trying to track bighorn sheep around Pikes Peak.

Colorado parks and wildlife took to Twitter stating that they have been conducting annual surveys since 1988. They study sheep, study body condition and look for lambs.

Sounds like a pretty epic gig.
