New Study Says That Denver Nuggets Fans Kind of Suck
Everyone gets heated when it comes to basketball, but fans of the Denver Nuggets may get a little too heated.
According to a new study from Onlinecasino.ca, Denver Nuggets supporters are more likely to throw objects during a game than any other fanbase in the NBA — in fact, 68% of those surveyed said they've seen it happen at a Nuggets match.

That's not the only bad behavior Nuggets fans have been busted for, either. 48% of those surveyed have witnessed Denver supporters spitting at games, while 40% have reported hearing profanities in the stands. Another 35% have also seen physical aggression.
Oof. Thankfully, Nuggets enthusiasts aren't the worst fans in the NBA — that title belongs to supporters of the Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls, and Brooklyn Nets.
So, why are fans aggressive during basketball games? It might have to do with team pride.
Supporters of the Celtics, Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, Cleveland Cavaliers, Detroit Pistons, Milwaukee Bucks, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Philadelphia 76ers even told Onlinecasino.ca that their fanbases should claim the crown for "trashiest" in the NBA.

Still, it's probably best for fans to express their pride less passionately. One-third of those surveyed said punishments for unruly fans need to be harsher.
The Denver Nuggets only have a few more games left in the NBA regular season. If you're lucky enough to be going to one, try your best to dial down the disruption.
