Hate driving down to Denver? I know I do. My anxiety is always cranked to the max when I head south on I-25. People have a tendency to cut me off, slam on their brakes for no apparent reason and overall, most drivers in the Mile High City seem distracted.

It appears that my anxiety when driving the streets of the Denver metro area is warranted, too. According to a new study by Quote Wizard, Denver drivers are the 8th worst in the nation. The data is compiled by insurance quotes and the ranking is based on accidents, speeding tickets, citations, and DUIs. Denver wasn't the only Colorado city on the list either. Colorado Springs checks in at 16th. Portland, Oregon takes top honors for bad drivers with the number one spot. The city with the best drivers? That would be Detroit, Michigan.
