More on Chad Tepper

Tepper definitely did not have it easy growing up. In fact, through most of his early childhood, he was homeless.

He would stay in cars, tents, and shelters throughout his childhood, and says he saw nasty things.

However, music would soon become his escape. He was able to receive a tape deck that had a radio in it. He said that at this time, listening to the radio and singing were his only respites from a harsh upbringing.

Chad eventually learned how to play the guitar as well. Even when he picked up other hobbies, like skateboarding, music always seemed to be the most important factor in his life.

However, something that cannot be overstated about Tepper is his infectiously positive demeanor and outlook. He credits being a good person as helping him find success in his life.

Musically, Tepper pulls a lot from his childhood love of pop punk bands like Lit and Simple Plan, actually being able to work with both.
