CSU’s Veterinary School Ranks Third in the Country
Colorado State University's Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Program is one of the best in the United States, according to U.S. News and World Report.
The university shared that the four-year program accepts less than 150 students each year, even though it receives about 2,000 applicants, making it highly competitive.
CSU has had a veterinary school since 1907. Students in their third and fourth years 'work side-by-side with exceptional clinicians through a series of specialty rotations at the James L. Voss Veterinary Teaching Hospital, which has 42,000 patient visits per year,' CSU said.
Dr. Evan Antin, who hosts Animal Planet's Evan Goes Wild, graduated from CSU's veterinary program. He was also named 'America's Sexiest Veterinarian' by Forbes, so in a way, CSU also has one of the sexiest programs in the nation. Just saying.
