With COVID-19 spreading rapidly through the United States, those working in higher education have had to make tough decisions. This includes President Joyce McConnell at Colorado State University and President Andy Feinstein of University of Northern Colorado.

Both elected to take their schools online for the remainder of the spring semesters.

In a statement, McConnell said:

Please know that all our decisions are driven by our commitment to you, to your health and wellbeing, and to all of those whom we educate, serve, work with, and consider to be valued members of our community and Ram family.
