Marvin Kinsey, the star running back and Mountain West Conference rushing leader, was suspended from the Colorado State University team on Tuesday, according to coach Mike Bobo. The Coloradoan reported that Bobo declined to make any further comments on the matter.

Although the Rams are having a rough year, Kinsey is a shining star as he has run for 703 yards and six touchdowns on 121 carries this season, and for 1,629 yards and 17 touchdowns in his CSU career. Unfortunately, this is not Kinsey's first suspension. Kinsey missed the first half of the 2017 New Mexico Bowl, as well as the first game of the 2018 season versus Hawaii for a violation of team rules.

In the meantime, the Rams will rely on junior Marcus McElroy and freshmen Jaylen Thomas and Christian Hunter.
