Colorado Winery Destroyed by Semi Truck Crash
A semi truck crashed into a winery early Tuesday morning, leaving the business at a complete loss.
The Platte Canyon Fire Protection District tells 9NEWS the truck crashed into Aspen Peak Cellars in Bailey at around 1 a.m. Tuesday. The driver had lost control while heading southbound on Highway 285.
Water pipes and a gas line in the area were also broken as a result of the crash. Thankfully no one was in the building when the accident occurred, but the driver of the semi had to be taken to a Denver hospital.
An investigation is pending to determine what made the driver lose control of the semi truck.
