Colorado Tops List of States With Most Expensive Homeowners Insurance
With home prices in Colorado on the rise, it's no surprise that insurance is going to be costly too. Just ask me, someone who's had to rent in Fort Collins since 2015 (insert eye roll here).
Yeah, it's a little expensive to live here, and that's backed up by the latest data from Insurify.
According to the website, Colorado ranks #10 for states with the most expensive homeowners insurance, with a whopping $1,446 as the average annual home insurance premium. The median home value here is $376,800, so it comes as so no surprise that it's pricey keeping our goods protected.
Who else is on the list? Massachusetts, Connecticut, Louisiana, and more. Check out the full list right here.
